PACKBURN NOISE SUPRESSOR MODEL 323A-DEMO.
This was our demo unit.
For all analog media, including disc, cylinder, film, wire and tape
recordings, monophonic and stereophonic.
The Switcher switches between left and right channels at a very rapid rate.
At low frequencies, the channels are summed to minimize rumble.
The Blanker clips transient noise whenever it exceeds a threshold determined
by the peak level in the vicinity of the transient
The Continuous Noise Suppressor reduces hiss.
Six position Rolloff record compensation switch, selects
equalization curves for 78's as well as Lp's made prior to RIAA adoption in
1953.
Cutoff frequency meter displays the cutoff frequency when the
Continuous Noise Suppressor or fixed filter is operating. Includes manual. Like new. List $2,650.00.

McIntosh MX113 AM/FM Tuner Preamplifier Control
Center. This is basically a C-26 preamp and MR74 tuner combined into one
unit. All you need is a power amplifer. This unit is very clean,
no rust, no paint scratches. The chrome is smooth and shines.
The printing is legible. There is only one blemish and is due to age, a bubble in the panel paint. Unit works
well. The tuner was recently aligned.

Rebuilt 1965 Garrard Type AII Record changer.
Speeds are 16/33/45/78. It is of the reliable "pusher" design and will reliably drop up to ten 78s
or LPs. Record changers will not work till all friction has been removed
from the myriad of levers and bearings involved in the change cycle.
All critical areas have been cleaned of old, waxy grease, relubricated and
adjustments made. The idler wheel's rubber had been rejuvenated. Included is a short spindle and LP/78 stacking
spindle. Generally in excellent cosmetic condition, but rear black
plastic molding is warped at rear of arm, and mat has some blemishes in
metal ring. A new CN1000 magnetic cartridge with an LP and 78 stylus
is included along with a base cutout drawing. Shipping is $25.00 in

Vintage Ampex 601 full track tape recorder.
These are still sought after. We have cosmetically cleaned it and
tested it to ensure all features work. The cover, while
original, is darker than the case. It records and plays back with good
sound. If tubes and old coupling capacitors were replaced, it probably
would provide original performance. In the 1961 Allied Radio
catalogue, its price was $595.00. |

Sharp RT-1155 stereo Dolby cassette deck.
It has switches for Dolby, bias, and tape formulation. Also featured
are mic inputs, headphone output, tape counter, large VU meters, and a peak
LED. This unit has been checked for operation. All mechanical functions
operate. Recordings were made off FM and the reproduced sounded much
like the original. The heads show little wear. Physically, it is

broadcast DJs and collectors who wanted a heavy (4-6 grams) tracking and
rugged phono cartridge. To compliment it, they made the first US
elliptical 78 stylus, the SS-78E. This stylus was loved by collectors,
but Shure, in their wisdom, discontinued it. We have new, old stock
